Bodzás Cabernet Sauvignon, 2017

The Vineyard Bodzás is located in the mid part of Kerékhegy Mountain and has a western exposure. This closed valley provides a special hot microclimate with a high number of sunshine hours. Thanks to the excellent terroir the cabernet sauvignon grapes can reach full ripeness. This is a full-bodied, huge wine, with a really strong character and tremendous ageing potential. A pure expression of the winery and the winemaker’s style. Strong, robust but harmonic tannin structure. In addition to the classic varietal character, its aromas faithfully reflect the unique signature and elegance of the wine maker. Aromas of blackberries, blackcurrants, ripe black cherries with a rich oak spice contribution: cedar, eucalyptus, olives, black pepper, rose pepper, coffee, tobacco, anise with some sweet spice decoration. A long, substantial, complex palate makes this wine an excellent companion in quality gastronomy. With its great ageing potential this is a wine that will definitely command a special position in many future vertical tasting line-ups.
