Grapes grown on the mica schist of the Spern Steiner vineyard give this wine its deep ruby red colour and concentrated nose, dominated by black berries, noble oak aromas, barrel spices, tobacco, bitter chocolate and rum cherry. On the palate, it is full-bodied and layered, with a dense, almost creamy texture and marked minerality. Exceptionally rich and complex aromatics characterise this Kékfrankos, revealing the grape’s true personality in the most natural way possible.
