An attractive, bright ruby red wine. The nose is reminiscent of a full fruit basket: cherries, raspberries, currants, with a hint of chocolate, black pepper and discreet sweet spices. Light, yet full of substance. Its stunning fruitiness is dominant on the palate. Everything is in right proprtions: medium body with medium acidity and a little tannin, that still provides enough firmness. The persistence of the aromas clearly demonstrates the coming together of quality raw material and skilled hands. The blend is inspired by Károly Zágonyi, the 1848-49 freedom fighter and Springfield hero, the name refers to the secret lover of the eponymous relative.
