The first thing you notice is the intense sour cherry aromas cutting through the spicy-peppery notes, complemented by a deep crimson red colour. Lively acidity, round tannins and a surprising softness considering its age. On first tasting it seems to be an easy drinking wine, with roundness and medium body. With some aeration and when held longer in the mouth, the fruity aromas emerge and the tasting should be repeated.
