Dúzsi Winery

The winery’s first wine was a Kékfrankos-Merlot cuvée from 1992, which won a gold medal at the 1994 National Wine Competition. With this wine, Tamás Dúzsi gained recognition and the respect of the profession as an independent winemaker. In the early days, he mainly made red wines based on Kékfrankos, but over the years this was supplemented with the international varieties typical of the Szekszárd wine region.

Today, rosé makes up a significant part of the winery’s turnover. The winery has won countless trophies with its rosés. Mr. Dúzsi is just as proud of his red wines as he is of his rosés. He relies on local varieties, which are complemented by international varieties in such a way that the special Szekszárd flavours are preserved.
