Grapes were harvested at optimal ripeness. The destemmed must was fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. After malolactic fermentation, the wine was matured in steel tanks for a short period and then racked into used 5-hectolitre American oak barrels. In this deep coloured, dense and concentrated wine, the dark berry fruit aromas are nicely complemented by the toasty notes of the oak.
