Frittmann Oak Aged Ezerjó, 2017

Ezerjó is a typical variety of the Soltvadkert region. It is a traditional Hungarian variety of protected origin. The winery produces several versions, reductive technology, late harvest, sparkling and this one which is aged in wood. It spent 5 months in used Hungarian oak barriques. After bottling, it spent another two years in bottle before being released. The wine has a somewhat creamy palate, yet its primary structural element is its firm, lively acidity.
