Légli Olaszrizling, 2020

Olaszrizling is a very versatile variety and a long-standing favourite of the winemaker. At Lake Balaton it produces very exciting wines on its own or blended, aged in tanks or barrels and can beautifully convey the unique character of the region. The Légli Winery has been working with this variety from the very beginning, so much so that their first wine to be presented to the wider public the 1993 Olaszrizling and it practically made Légli a household name overnight.
The wine was fermented in barrels with ambient yeasts and bottled after 5 months. It is a unique white wine with an elegant floral bouquet, with notes of oak and almonds nicely integrated on the palate.
