Just by looking at it this wine will whet your appetite with its fuller, gorgeous colour (somewhere between salmon and pale cherry red). It suggests ripe fruitiness and fullness. Aromas of raspberry, cherry and strawberry dominate the nose. The palate delivers exactly what the nose promises: full, ripe fruitiness. The acidity is up and working but not dominating the wine, which makes the palate even rounder. The grapes were harvested specifically for rosé, i.e. picked before full ripeness. After crushing, destemming and brief skin contact, pressing was followed by juice removal.
