2016 was an ideal year for aszú production at Pajzos. Thanks to the carefully and thoughtfully chosen harvest date a large quantity of aszú berries with a perfect acid-sugar ratio was picked before the rainy period set in. The quality of the raw material has resulted in excellent, multi-award-winning Aszú wines from the winery. The Pajzos style – elegance, harmony, excellent balance – is faithfully reflected in the 2016 6-puttonyos Pajzos aszú. Both the nose and the palate displays enticing notes of vanilla and sweet spice, honey, saffron and tropical fruits. Concentrated, lively and with a firm acidity, this is a young Aszú with an individual character.
