Furmint is the best-known variety of the Tokaj wine region. The vinification is aimed to capture the true character of the variety with its freshness and vibrant aromas.
For this single-vineyard wine we harvested the organic Furmint grapes by hand from the historical Zomborka vineyard. The matured notes are due to the ageing in Hungarian oak barrels from the Zemplén Mountains.
On the nose oak barrel notes are complimented by a delicate minerality, followed by the scent of fruits and slight vanilla. The palate is characterized by the dynamics of vivid acidity and citrus flavours.
