BalatonBor is made from Olaszrizling, it is a Balaton wine with great drinkability yet substance, aimed primarily for gastronomy and regional sales. BalatonBor is the first regional wine brand in Hungary based on producer cooperation, so using the moniker “the Balaton Wine” is absolutely justified. BalatonBor is a joint product of the Balaton Circle and the Rizling Generation, but it can be made by anyone who meets the requirements. In addition to the objective parameters, the quality of the product is guaranteed by a jury convened by the Balaton Circle and the Rizling Generation. Only wines that have successfully passed the panel test may use the name BalatonBor.
