Hárs Family Organic Winery

The Szajk vineyard where the Hárs Family Organic Winery’s grapes are grown is located on the sunny slopes of the Mecsek, one of the warmest, sub-Mediterranean wine regions of Hungary, close to Pécs.
The Hárs brothers, Tibor and József, are committed to sustainable, ecological farming, and in line with this approach, for over 15 years the vines on the 20-hectare estate have been cultivated without chemicals that are harmful to the environment or human health. Their aim is to produce organic wines which preserve as much as possible of the natural values of the area, the varieties and the vintages.
