Cabernet Franc, 2019

One of the great black grape varieties, Cabernet Franc is typically blended with other Bordeaux varieties. It is rarely bottled as a single varietal, but when grown in optimal conditions and in a good vintage, then it yields velvety, high-extract wines which are a special treat to taste.

A nose of medium intensity, showing a rich spicy, cherry, slightly earthy character, with hints of bell pepper and black pepper. The palate is full, richly textured, ripe and high in tannins. A flavoursome wine with notes of toasted oak and medium acidity.
