The soil and climate conditions in Hosszúhetény are suitable for the production of premium quality Syrah, as attested by the Gold and Grand Gold awards at numerous local, national and international wine competitions. A particularly soft, fruity red wine with slightly oaky notes and a persistent finish. In the case of this variety top quality can only be achieved through a lot of work in the vineyards, including strict yield control, but once these needs are met, it produces wines that resonate long in the memory.
