Kéknyelű is an ancient and rare Hungarian variety grown almost exclusively in the Badacsony wine region. The best healthy Kéknyelű grapes are selected from two major vineyards (in Badacsonytomaj and the south-eastern and south-western side of Gulács hill). Thanks to the volcanic soils, this great wine, fermented in large wooden barrels and matured for 6 months, is characterised by a unique mineral character, lively acidity and noble harmony. It was aged in bottle for more than a year. Its high potassium content is beneficial to health. Drinking chilled at 11-13˚C is recommended.
