Borbély Family Winery

The greatest pride of Borbély Family Winery is that Tamás, the young winemaker of the winery, won the honorary title of “Wine Producer of the Year” in 2020! Since the beginning, traditional winemaking has played an important role in the life of the winery. They believe in the merits of the white varieties typical of the wine region, which help them to get to know and present the diversity of the terroirs offered by their region. Using modern and traditional techniques, they strive to produce wines ranging from the freshest style to mineral wines with strong character. With some bottle ageing the wines in the Selection range express the character summarized in the family’s motto “fiery wines, volcanic flavours”. Seeing the importance of wine tourism, they have created a cosy cellar and a guest house where visitors are welcome all year round to relax after a session or two of wine tasting.
