Olaszrizling is the most widely planted variety of the Badacsony wine region. The must, pressed from healthy, ripe grapes, is fermented in vats to produce a fresher, fruitier style of Olaszrizling, a kind of weekday wine. Thanks to the varietal and the basalt soils, it has a delicate acidity and a bitter almond aftertaste. It can be consumed both on its own or as a fröccs (spritzer)! Chilled at 10-12˚C, it is an excellent companion for friendly conversations, cheeses and soups.
