When planting Furmint in 2015, the winery’s idea was to show why it was once a popular variety in the Badacsony wine region under the name ’Szigeti’. Part of the wine harvested from Bács Hill was aged in tank, while the rest in 500-litre wooden barrels to create a beautiful harmony of fruit, minerals and oak character. The winery strongly believes in the merits of this variety. Serve chilled at 11-13˚C with cabbage dishes, trout, mussels.
