Bio Nivegy-völgy Hegybor, 2020

A dry white wine with protected designation of origin of Balatonfüred-Csopak.

The Nivegy Valley PDO has been developed and registered for this wine. At the end of fermentation, half of the wine was racked into 500 litre wooden barrels with fine lees, the other half was aged in stainless steel. The nose reflects the chalky soil and displays some varietal and subtle barrel notes as well, which are all present on the palate too. The medium acidity makes the finish persistent. This organic Olaszrizling shows its best between 1 and 3 years old. Even at one year old, it shows great integration and balance, by the second year it develops further layers.
