Dobosi Winery

The Dobosi family has been living in Szentantalfa since the 1700s with their livelihood based on growing vines and producing wine. It was in 1990, at the time of the regime change, that Dániel Dobosi – representing the 7th generation – officially restarted the farm.

The winery is located in the Upper-Balaton region and today, together with his 2 sons, the Dobosis cultivate 25 hectares of vineyards. Remarakably, they switched to organic viticulture very early, in 2000.
Together, the two generations came up with the idea of the Dobosi Estate Centre, which was completed and opened in 2020 and operates as a winery, a 4-star hotel and a fine bistro restaurant in the middle of the vineyards.
