Bio Juhfark, 2020

This Hungarian variety is named after the parallel cylindrical shape of its bunches. It is famous for its good acidity retention capacity, which is a great asset in the midst of a climate crisis, as it ripens beautifully and is supported by harmonious acidity. It is straw yellow in colour, with golden yellow tones. On the nose it shows nice maturity, beuatifully expressing the lime soil of the Nivegy Valley, which is also strongly present on the palate. The nicely integrated acidity makes the finish persistent with the above mentioned notes returning. It is an integral part of the winery’s organic farming practices that they pick fully ripe berries, which results in fuller, more substantial wines.
