Aged in new small oak barrels for 24 months, then in bottle for at least another 12 months. It is a deep and intense dark red wine, tending towards crimson. Velvety, full-bodied, with a nose of ripe cherries and tobacco, and a palate showing chocolate and vanilla alongside overripe fruit.
