The nose is unmistakably Cabernet Franc to the last bit. Black and red berries, rose hips, sweet spices, freshly ground black pepper, with some herbal garnish. A complex, rich red wine. Round and full on the palate, with plenty of everything and good proportions. The finish is long and rich in flavours. Malolactic fermentation was done in stainless steel tank. The wine was aged in barrels. The choice of barrels – first or second fill, M or M+ – is determined primarily by the character of the vintage. The grapes are picked at full ripeness to get the most out of them.
