Etyeki Kúria Méthode Charmat, NV

Etyek is a prime growing region for sparkling wines, as base wines are characterized by unmistakable lively acidity thanks to the cooler than average climate and the limestone base rock. As the next step in exploring the various sparkling wine styles, a classic blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from three different vintages (2018, 2019, 2020) was tank-fermented and aged for 6 months on fine lees. Notes of lemon, sweet lemon candy, yellow apple, acacia honey, fresh mango and a hint of the caramelized apples of a Tarte Tatin.
