This Kekfrankos Limited Edition 2019 is at the top of Lajver’s range. Made from handpicked grapes coming from the best vineyard. Produced only in exceptionally good vintages. After the separate small batch alcoholic and malolactic fermentations, it was aged for 12 months in 500-liter Hungarian oak barrels with medium toasting. The final “blend” was made from the best lots. In May 2021, 1560 bottles were bottled. This is a wine with a long aging potential, well-structured tannins and remarkable acidity. The sophisticated nose displays cooked plum and dark berries, with elegant oak aromas and sweet spices.
