Lajver Signum, 2019

Signum is the premium Bikaver (Bull’s blood) of Lajver winery. Made from handpicked grapes coming from selected low-yield vineyards. It is a blend of 55% Kekfrankos, 26% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Merlot, 6% Kadarka and 1% Cabernet Franc. After the alcoholic and malolactic fermentations, the wines were aged in 500-liter Hungarian oak barrels (20% new) for 12 months. This wine embodies the winery’s vision of the wine region. Elegance, harmony, black berries, souple tannins, round mouthfeel and balanced acidity.
