To the best of their knowledge, Riesling is the modern, Balaton wine in Balatonboglár, which is capable of international quality while being very much Balaton and very much Légli… The values of the local terroir, such as the fine fruit acids, are beautifully expressed. Its importance for the winery is clearly demonstarted by the fact that they produce Riesling on two quality levels, whenever the vintage allows to do so. The entry level Riesling, at 12.7% alcohol, is a crisp, direct wine, an excellent accompaniment to fish from Lake Balaton. Elegant in appearance, with citrusy, peach blossom aromas, vibrant acidity, a rich Riesling a full-body and fine minerality.
