Phoenix Kékfrankos Prémium, 2018

The spicy, powerful Kékfrankos is Hungary’s main black grape variety. It is an excellent conveyor of terroir, it has the capacity to reflect its place of origin in the wines. János Szekretár believes that this is the best Kékfrankos produced by the winery in the last 12 years. This wine represents the rebirth of the variety, it can stand up to any wine made anywhere: it is the flagship red of Szekszárd and Hungary. Its outstanding quality is also shown by the fact that it comes in a special Szekszárd bottle. A total of 3 barrels of this single vineyard wine were made.
