Soul Syrah, 2017

Soul. This is the name given to the Monopole Syrah, a beautiful blend of the ripe fruit of the Nyilasmár and Nagyfai terroirs, which are both of special quality. The thin, rocky, tuff soil and the steep southern slope of the former vineyard give the wine a fiery, full-bodied character, while the brown forest floor of Nagyfai gives it a rich and clean aroma. The nose opens with ripe black cherry and earthy notes, followed by plum, sweet tobacco and leather enhancing the varietal character. The deep coloured red wine offers velvety tannins and a poised finish. Music and soul, journey and arrival. This is Soul.
