Kovács Nimród Winery

The Kovács Nimród Winery is located in the historical part of Eger, in the Verőszala Street row of cellars. It produces world-class wines by taking full advantage of the technological achievements of the 21st century and following the centuries-old tradition. KNW owns three of the best terroirs in the Eger wine-growing region. As the viticultural conditions in Eger’s are similar to those in Burgundy, the winery planted varieties that feel at home there and therefore have the potential to produce world-class wines. In addition to the international varieties, they are also proud of the Hungarian varieties and the wines made from them: Furmint and Kékfrankos.
