Kiss Attila Winery

The winery is located in the north of Hungary, in the foothills of the Mátra Mountain, in Gyöngyöstarján. Currently, 16 hectares are under vine, and to fulfill market demand they purchase an additional 1-2 hectares of grapes from selected producers. The varietal composition is mixed but they are consciously increasing the share of varieties that have good potential for the future. The white varieties produce wines of reliably high quality every year. With the black grapes, the desired quality is reached through careful canopy management and low yields. They sell 120,000 bottles of wine a year to their partners in Hungary and abroad. Their white wines are made using reductive technology, while their red wines are aged in traditional barrels.
