Martinus Estate

The Martinus Estate is located in the heart of the Nivegy Valley, on Tagyon Hill. The winery, which was launched in 2008, is built on the foundations of a 0.5-hectare family heritage site. The current size of 12 hectares is the result of the owners’ hard work and dedication. All the purchased parcels have been painstakingly replanted. Last year, a wine terrace and a guest house was built, which have made the Estate even more attractive. Since 2013, organic viticulture has been practised on selected vineyards of the Tagyon hill, and the first organic wine produced from these plots was made in 2019. The owner has put the emphasis on planting two major Hungarian varieties, with Olaszrizling and Kékfrankos making up the majority of the production area.
