The nose is dominated by a mineral, stony character with dried fruits and mangoes in the background. It almost explodes in your mouth, and has a definite, vibrant, rich taste. The dried fruits take over the dominance on the palate, the soft barrel aromas are in good harmony, the mineral notes add an intriguing twist. The finish is very long and memorable. Every year one of the top wines of the winery is made from the harvest of carefully selected and overripe grapes coming from the Grófi vineyard. Low yields guarantee concentrated musts, barrel fermentation is followed by extended ageing in barrel. Further ageing in bottle will make this wine even more balanced and complex.
