Zenit, 2021

The “fruit bomb”. Among the famous “Z” grape varieties crossed in Hungary (in this case Ezerjó + Bouvier), Zenit is the most popular in the Pécs wine region as it preserves its beautiful, harmonious flavours despite the hot climate. This hand-harvested wine is made from estate-grown grapes, and it is intensely fruity both on the nose and the palate, offering notes of pear, pineapple, honey and melon. Despite the early harvest date (mid-August), it is a fine wine made from grapes picked at full ripeness, a fact reflected in the harmony of acidity, alcohol, body, aromas and flavours.
