Situated on the eastern side of the Somló hill, the 3 hectares of vineyards are largely trained as bush vines. Somló Kincse grows 11 autochthonous Carpathian Basin grape varieties, all of them were once typical on the Somló, and this range is supplemented by some other rare varieties. They protect their vineyards with herbal preparations, breaking away from the traditional use of sprays. Their wines are born from the natural processing of their own harvest. All additives have been banished from the cellar. Following spontaneous fermentation the wines are bottled without filtration or fining, with the occasional use of minimal amounts of sulphuric acid.
